Peter acquired The Wooden Floor Company in 1994 and has continued to build on its reputation for quality and service which customers had come to expect.

Peter's main role is in the intricate task of quoting on anything from extremely large projects to small changes to an existing floor in a domestic home. He has a great facility for finding the best solution to very complex situations and is well known in the industry for his knowledge in this field.

Peter enjoys the variety of the projects which appear for quoting on his desk and the challenges which come from dealing with really complicated approaches.

When away from the business, Peter enjoys a wide number of sports and in particular is a fan of rugby and the Warriors rugby league team.

 Andrea Bothner-By

Andrea has worked for The Wooden Floor Company since 1998.
She performs an integral role here as General Manager. Andrea processes orders, organises all aspects of accounting and looks after most visitors to our showroom in Queens Ave.

Andrea enjoys meeting and talking with new customers and assisting them with advice, options and planning. She is often inspired by the variety of house plans our customers bring with them and enjoys discussing various flooring choices with them.

Outside work hours, Andrea is a busy wife and mother of 2 children. She is a great organiser both inside and outside work.

Justin Spicer

Justin joined The Wooden Floor Company in June 2008 as our Account Manager, and is responsible for maintaining current relationships with our national distributors, increasing our client database and in particular, leading our product specification amongst the architectural and decorating industries throughout New Zealand.

Justin first started his career in the timber industry as a flooring installer over ten years ago. Over the years he has specialized in sales management and network distribution, and has a particular passion for training and development. He will be traveling throughout New Zealand on a regular basis to offer such training and support to our national distribution outlets.

Apart from spending time with his wife and two daughters, he will be taking time for the outdoors ? particularly kayaking and cycling and will not miss the opportunity for a round of golf.

Lynette Baker 

Lynette joined The Wooden Floor Co Ltd in 2006, as our in house interior designer, Lynette has 20 years of experience working with architects, builders and interior designers.

Lynette is passionate about her work, and is dedicated in helping her clients receive the desired result. 

Lynette was responsible for the redesigning of the display stand at the Home Ideas centre in Parnell, also the complete revamp of our new premises in Queens Ave Mt Eden.

Outside of business hours Lynette enjoys landscape design, cooking, but most importantly spending quality time with her family.
